JOB PURPOSE: As an entry level, diploma engineer trainee position, job assignments are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the Mechanical / Manufacturing / Product Design analysis / Automation and Robotics methods, practices, and processes of the company.
The prospective candidate should be well versed in Concept of Jigs & Fixtures, and the types and Methods of Welding. The candidate should possess good working Knowledge on GD & T, different International facility standards related to Tool design with Heavy Fab. structures , Manufacturing Design, Tool Matls & Heat Treatment process, Design validation process & Implementing Lean tools (LPS) in manufacturing lines. Working Knowledge in Tool Manufacturing is must.
JOB DUTIES: The key role of this entry level engineering position is to learn and assist: to gain an understanding of engineering services, systems, and procedures; to learn and develop skills which result from the practical application of basic engineering knowledge.
Individual must manage their own development, continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology changes. Learning will focus on methods, processes and systems applied to engineering functions, key engineering skills, practical application of theory, communications and building a knowledge design & manufacturing of automation & robotic solutions / Mechanical Design / Product Design Analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
* Candidate should be a Diploma in Tool Engineering from Reputed Colleges / Training Institute with 0-1 year experience .
* He / She should be good in Mechanical Engineering Basics / in all Tool Engineering subjects with Manufacturing Knowledge.
* Freshers with Good Academic record with Good Communication is must .
* Skills on Auto-Cad / Solidworks, Fusion 360, Creo are must
* Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of new and existing products design and manufacturing drawing creations
* Use Creo 3D software / Solidworks to Modelling, Detailing to design, evaluate, and archive product documentation
* Review design specifications and requirements under direction, develop designs to best support them including cost as a key design variable
* Update engineering manager with regular reporting of progress and status
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
* Diploma in mechanical engineering, with consistent academic record and excellent analytical skills.
* Should be good in Basic Engineering subjects and should have fair knowledge on the Manufacturing / Mechanical Basics
* Knowledge with mechanical design (Plastics / Moulds / Automation & Robotic Solutions) preferred
* Works independently and with minimal supervision
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
