Position: Warehouse Helper
Position Overview:
Rentomojo, a leading rental company providing furniture and appliances on a rental basis, is
seeking a reliable and diligent Warehouse Helper to join our team. As a Warehouse Helper, you
will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with
various tasks related to inventory management, order processing, and warehouse maintenance.
Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of
Rentomojo's warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
● Assist with loading and unloading rental furniture and appliances from delivery trucks,
ensuring proper handling and organization.
● Conduct accurate counting and verification of inventory during receiving and dispatching
processes.
● Prepare rental items for delivery, including assembling, disassembling, and inspecting
furniture and appliances to ensure they meet Rentomojo's quality standards.
● Assist in picking and packing rental orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely
delivery to customers.
● Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, to move and
transport items within the warehouse.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including shelving, storage
areas, and common spaces, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
● Collaborate with team members to reconcile inventory discrepancies, report damages or
shortages, and suggest improvements for warehouse processes.
● Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any
discrepancies or variances.
● Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work
environment for yourself and others.
● Adhere to Rentomojo's policies and procedures, including compliance with company
standards for quality and customer service.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not
mandatory.
● Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
● Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive and collaborative work
environment.
● Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced
environment.
● Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
● Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
● Experience or willingness to handle cleaning of appliances or furniture.
