We are seeking a diligent and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on orders, overseeing operational tasks, and handling various outside work assignments. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Follow-Up:
  • Monitor and track customer orders from initiation to delivery.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on order status and resolve any issues.
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Operational Support:
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the office, including administrative tasks.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to orders and operations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between different departments to streamline processes.
  • Outside Work:
  • Handle errands and tasks outside the office, such as deliveries, pickups, and other assigned duties.
  • Ensure timely completion of all outside work assignments.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the office environment is organized.
  • Support the team with various clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a business operations environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outside work tasks.
