Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Female
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel
  • Good understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Perform supplier performance evaluations, including price, quality, and delivery timeliness.
  • Procurement Planning:
  • Collaborate with production and project teams to forecast material needs.
  • Develop procurement plans based on project timelines and manufacturing schedules.
  • Purchase Orders & Contracts:
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company policies and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
  • Ensure all POs and contracts are accurate and properly documented.
  • Cost Control:
  • Monitor prices of raw materials, equipment, and services to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Work on cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Conduct price comparison and market analysis.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Coordinate with inventory management and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure that purchased goods meet required standards.
  • Follow up with suppliers on non-conforming materials and resolve issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and delivery records.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance).
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes affecting procurement.
