Description

Operational Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish operational priorities, allocate resources, and optimize workflows.

Software Development and Delivery:

  • Oversee software development processes, methodologies, and project management practices to ensure timely delivery of high-quality core banking software solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to streamline development workflows, manage development sprints, and drive continuous improvement in software delivery practices.

Customer Success and Support:

  • Lead customer success and support functions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs), customer support processes, and escalation procedures to address customer inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests promptly.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Implement quality assurance processes and testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of core banking software products.
  • Define and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in software quality and reliability.

Vendor Management and Partnerships:

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and industry partners to leverage external expertise and resources.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and evaluate third-party solutions to support operational needs and strategic objectives.

Process Improvement and Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains across operational functions.
  • Implement lean methodologies, operational best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to core banking software development and operations.
  • Mitigate operational risks, cybersecurity threats, and business continuity risks through robust risk management practices and contingency planning.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration and alignment across departments, including engineering, product management, sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and teamwork to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Leadership and Talent Development:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top operational talent within the organization, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to empower teams and drive operational excellence.
