Description

  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).
  • Perform cutting, welding, and shaping of metal components using both manual and automatic equipment.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues in welds or metal components, making necessary adjustments.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, including wearing protective equipment.
  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working order, performing routine checks and maintenance as required.
