Qualifications and Skills

  • 4-6 years of experience in Structural Engineering and Steel Detailing
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures software & SDS2 for checking and modeling
  • Knowledge of construction drawings and international standards (AISC, CISC, BS, IS code, OSHA)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy in detailing work

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review and verify construction drawings and models in Tekla & SDS2 Structures
  • Perform quality checks on structural steel detailing to ensure compliance with international standards
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy
  • Conduct thorough BIM modeling and coordination for steel structures
  • Provide feedback on design improvements and suggestions for enhanced fabrication efficiency
