Description

We are seeking a skilled Broadband Installation Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband internet connections and related equipment for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has experience in networking or telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure broadband internet equipment, including routers, modems, and fiber-optic devices.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine the best setup for broadband installations.
  • Perform cabling work, including laying, splicing, and troubleshooting fiber, coaxial, or Ethernet cables.
  • Test and verify internet connections to ensure seamless performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve customer connectivity problems.
  • Educate customers on equipment use and answer queries regarding internet services.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • ITI & Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in networking or telecommunications are a plus.
