Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food production plant. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and meet all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Oversight:

    • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production schedules to meet company objectives and customer demands.
    • Monitor production lines and processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.

  2. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve performance targets.
    • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
    • Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance, addressing any issues promptly.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
    • Work closely with the quality control team to address any quality-related issues.

  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions to maintain a safe workplace.

  5. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

  6. Inventory and Equipment Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
    • Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, minimizing downtime.

  7. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and waste.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management.
