Job Responsibilities – Overseas Education Counsellor

An Overseas Education Counsellor guides students through the study abroad process by providing expert advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Counseling: Advise students on universities, courses, eligibility, and career prospects.
  • Application Process: Assist in filling applications, preparing SOPs, and reviewing documents.
  • Visa Guidance: Support students in visa applications, interviews, and financial documentation.
  • Test Preparation: Guide students on IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT, and SAT requirements.
  • University Coordination: Liaise with universities for admissions, scholarships, and updates.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Conduct seminars, webinars, and collaborate with schools/colleges.
  • Pre & Post Departure Support: Assist with travel, accommodation, and cultural adaptation.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain student records, application status, and visa updates.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of international universities and visa policies.
  • Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
