Key responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with menu selections.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly.
Promote special offers and new flavors.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise a team of ice cream scoopers and other staff members.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Motivate and maintain a positive work environment.
Operations Management:
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ice cream supplies and ingredients.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ice cream machines and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the store, including food preparation areas.
Adhere to all food safety regulations.
Financial Performance:
Track sales figures and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
Manage labor costs and optimize operational efficiency.
Monitor and control expenses to meet budget targets.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies, local health codes, and safety regulations.
Generate reports on sales, inventory, staff performance, and other key metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact positively with customers
Leadership and supervisory experience, including staff training and development
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic math skills for inventory management and sales calculations
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Food safety certification (may be required depending on location)
Prior experience in retail or food service industry preferred
