Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently meet and exceed sales targets for the assigned region, including volume and revenue goals. 

  • Team Management:

    Lead and motivate a team of ice cream sales representatives, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training to optimize individual and team performance. 

  • Retailer Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners like supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service outlets, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility. 

  • Distribution Network Oversight:

    Manage the distribution network within the territory, ensuring efficient delivery of products to retailers and monitoring inventory levels. 

  • Market Analysis:

    Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities, analyze competitor activity, and stay updated on market trends to inform sales strategies. 

  • New Product Launch:

    Actively promote and launch new ice cream products to retailers, coordinating marketing efforts to drive customer demand. 

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    Regularly monitor sales performance through data analysis, generating reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions. 

  • Customer Service:

    Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and building loyalty. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management, ideally within the food and beverage industry, with a focus on retail sales. 
  • Strong leadership and team building skills to motivate and develop a sales team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with retailers and customers. 
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. 
  • Understanding of distribution channels and logistics management. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales CRM tools. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
