Description

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and present menus
  • Take orders and input them into the POS system
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy of orders
  • Communicate any special requests to the kitchen
  • Check in with customers during their meal
  • Deliver checks and collect payments
  • Set and clean tables and service areas
  • Deal with customer complaints
  • Escort customers to their tables

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
  • Adherence to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Other duties

  • Collaborate with kitchen and staff
  • Make suggestions based on customer preferences
  • Up-sell when appropriate
  • Check products for quality
  • Manage a fast-paced environment
  • Adapt to changing customer needs
