Production activities 

  • Organizing: Organizing workflow and ensuring a good workload balance
  • Assigning responsibilities: Assigning tasks to production employees
  • Scheduling: Developing and implementing schedules to meet manufacturing timelines
  • Monitoring: Monitoring production to resolve issues and escalate unresolved issues

Safety 

  • Safety compliance: Ensuring that employees adhere to safety standards
  • Safe work environment: Ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment

Quality 

  • Quality standards: Ensuring that quality standards are maintained
  • Checking output: Checking output quality

Communication

  • Communicating with other departments: Liaising between different departments and suppliers 
  • Providing feedback: Providing performance feedback to the upper levels of management 

Leadership 

  • Supervising: Supervising and evaluating staff performance
  • Coaching: Coaching employees to ensure effective performance
  • Motivating: Motivating the team through their leadership
