Job Overview:

Ethamozhy Coir Cluster Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Assistant to support our manufacturing processes by ensuring that all products meet quality standards before dispatch. Prior experience in quality control will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Testing & Measurement: Perform quality tests using standard tools and document results.
  • Defect Identification: Identify defects, deviations, and irregularities in production and report them to the QC team.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and corrective action logs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure consistent quality.
  • Standard Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Additional Skills


Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science, or any related field preferred. 0-2 years of experience in Quality Control (experience in manufacturing QC is an advantage). Knowledge of quality control processes, product testing, and defect analysis. Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic computer skills to update QC records.
