Responsibilities:
Create detailed drawings of rebar placement for construction projects Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and codes Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues Calculate and estimate materials needed for each project Review and interpret construction blueprints and schematics Communicate changes and updates to project team as needed Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in rebar detailing technology Ensure timely completion of projects and meet project deadlines
Requirements: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings Strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to use software and tools for rebar detailing, such as AutoCAD or RebarCad Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to rebar detailing Experience with reinforcing steel fabrication, installation, and construction practices Attention to detail and accuracy in creating rebar shop drawings Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
