Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration:

    • Manage user access and security levels within the DMS system. 
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues. 
    • Implement system updates and upgrades, coordinating with vendors. 
    • Maintain data integrity by performing regular data cleansing and validation checks. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Generate comprehensive reports on sales performance, customer demographics, inventory levels, service metrics, and financial health. 
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
    • Create customized reports and dashboards to meet specific departmental needs. 
  • User Training and Support:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for dealership staff on DMS features and functionalities. 
    • Provide ongoing support to users by addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and offering technical assistance. 
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process optimization within the dealership operations based on DMS data. 
    • Collaborate with department managers to implement process changes and streamline workflows. 
    • Monitor the effectiveness of changes and make adjustments as needed. 
  • Vendor Management:

    • Maintain relationships with DMS vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely support. 
    • Evaluate new DMS features and functionalities to identify potential benefits for the dealership. 

    

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:

    Strong understanding of DMS software systems, data management, and reporting capabilities. 

  • Automotive Industry Knowledge:

    Familiarity with dealership operations, sales processes, service procedures, and finance functions. 

  • Analytical Skills:

    Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights. 

  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively train users and collaborate with different departments. 

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

    Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system-related problems.
