Description

  1. Operate CT Scanners – Perform CT scans of various body parts to assist doctors in diagnosing diseases or injuries.
  2. Prepare Patients – Explain procedures, answer questions, position patients correctly, and ensure their comfort.
  3. Adjust Equipment Settings – Modify scan parameters based on the physician’s orders and patient needs.
  4. Administer Contrast Agents – Inject or assist with oral and IV contrast administration for enhanced imaging.
  5. Ensure Patient Safety – Follow radiation safety protocols, minimize exposure, and use lead shielding as needed.
  6. Review and Analyze Images – Ensure image quality and clarity before sending them to radiologists for interpretation.
  7. Maintain Equipment – Perform routine checks and report any malfunctions for repairs.
  8. Document and Update Records – Keep accurate patient records, scan details, and reports.
  9. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
  10. Stay Updated with Technology – Keep up with advancements in CT technology and radiology best practices.
