The ideal applicant will oversee all financial facets of building projects, guaranteeing correct financial documentation and adherence to industry norms. Principal Duties:
Financial Management: Keep an eye on all construction project-related financial activities, such as expense tracking, billing, and budgeting.
Cost analysis: Track and evaluate project expenses to make sure they are in line with budgets and to find areas where money might be saved.
Financial Reporting: Create thorough financial reports that include balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and project cost summaries.
Compliance: Verify adherence to business rules, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Project Support: Work together with project managers to offer financial analysis and assistance for efficient project planning and implementation.
Auditing: Help with both internal and external audits by supplying the required paperwork and justifications.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Tally.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
