Job Summary:

A Retail Sales Executive helps customers find and purchase products, delivers excellent service, and supports store goals. They assist with sales, provide product knowledge, and ensure the store is organized and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:

    • Greet customers and assist with finding products.
    • Answer questions and provide information on products, promotions, and sales.
    • Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.

  2. Sales:

    • Meet or exceed sales targets by suggesting related products and upselling.
    • Stay informed about store promotions to encourage sales.
    • Track customer preferences and suggest products accordingly.

  3. Product Knowledge:

    • Learn about the products sold to help customers make informed decisions.
    • Stay updated on new arrivals and trends.

  4. Store Maintenance:

    • Keep the store clean and organized.
    • Restock products and ensure shelves are well-stocked and neat.
    • Maintain attractive product displays.

  5. Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with colleagues to meet store goals.
    • Assist with training new employees when needed.

  6. Sales Transactions:

    • Use the point-of-sale system to process transactions.
    • Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of using POS systems and handling cash.
