Prepare and set up vertical machining centers (VMC) for production runs. This includes selecting tools, fixtures, and materials, as well as configuring the machine's parameters based on the part specifications.Choose and install appropriate cutting tools, ensuring they are correctly calibrated for the job. Monitor tool wear and replace tools as needed to maintain precision and minimize downtime.Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools (such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges). Ensure parts meet quality standards and production requirements.Perform routine maintenance on the VMC machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn-out parts or tools. Report any major machine malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
