Job Title:Business development Manager
Reports To: Managing Director
Location: [Saravanampatti, Coimbatore]

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve company objectives and market leadership , Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of business operations, including sales, marketing, production/installation (if applicable), customer service, and finance. Ensure efficient and effective processes across all departments.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and mentor the management team and other key personnel. Foster a high-performance culture and promote employee development.
  • Sales & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales growth. Oversee marketing campaigns, product development, and pricing strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with key clients and partners. Address customer escalations and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline operations.
  • Industry Knowledge & Networking: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in leadership
  • Proven track record of successfully managing business operations, driving sales growth, and improving profitability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Deep understanding of the home interiors market, customer demographics, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
