Job Title: MIG Welding Operator

Experience: 3+ years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welding Operator to perform welding tasks using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have experience in reading blueprints, setting up welding machines, and ensuring high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  • Set up welding machines, select appropriate wire, gas, and settings.
  • Perform tack welding, spot welding, and full welding operations.
  • Inspect and test welds for quality and precision.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and welding standards.
  • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and workspace.
  • Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ITI/Diploma in Welding or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in MIG welding (experience in TIG/ARC welding is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and metallurgy.
  • Ability to use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Understanding of welding defects and corrective actions.
  • Ability to work in shifts and a team-oriented environment.
