Job Functions and Description
A Mechanicall quality manager will have the following Roles and responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and policies tailored to the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
· Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of QA programs.
· Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product quality and process efficiency.
· Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes
· Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications
Skills/Knowledge:
· In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), quality control processes, and regulatory requirements applicable to fabrication manufacturing.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of QA professionals.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Experience with quality assurance tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
· Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
· Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant industry certifications.
