The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing machinery, tools, and equipment, preferably within the MSME Industry (Manufacturing). You will play a key role in developing innovative designs, improving existing products, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Create detailed 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks for welding electrode manufacturing machinery and related equipment.
Develop innovative designs to improve product performance, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality assurance, to ensure designs meet technical and operational requirements.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials.
Prototyping and Testing:
Assist in the prototyping and testing of new designs to validate functionality and performance.
Identify and resolve design issues during the development process.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze existing designs and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
