Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join Auto Diecasting Company. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will ensure that all electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime, contributing to overall production performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Maintenance & Repair:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Diagnose electrical issues and implement solutions to prevent production disruptions.
Installation & Upgrades:
Install and upgrade electrical equipment and control panels.
Ensure all installations meet safety standards and industry codes.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety standards and ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance activities to prevent accidents.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Use testing tools to diagnose electrical faults and quickly identify issues.
Record diagnostics and repairs for future reference and efficiency tracking.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and tools.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of essential parts.
Emergency Support:
Provide support during electrical emergencies to minimize production delays.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement immediate corrective actions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, wiring, and PLCs.
Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and working in confined spaces.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with potential overtime.
