Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Inspection and Measurement:
- Inspect finished parts using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.

Verify the accuracy of CNC machine settings and operations.
Perform visual inspections to identify surface defects, scratches, or other issues.
Data Collection and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting any deviations or defects found.
Document inspection results and measurements accurately.
Problem Solving and Corrective Action:
- Identify and report any quality issues or defects to supervisors or relevant personnel.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to implement corrective actions to address quality problems.
Recommend process improvements to enhance quality control and prevent future defects.
Adherence to Standards and Procedures:
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Other Duties:
- May assist with setting up and calibrating measuring equipment.
May be involved in the development and implementation of quality control processes.
May perform in-process inspections during the machining process.
