Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks on various components of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), including frames, supports, and other mechanical parts.
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.
Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and other technical specifications to complete welding tasks accurately.
Ensure that welded parts meet quality standards and are free of defects.
Assist with the assembly and installation of mechanical parts on the machines.
Support the senior welding team in troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the welded components.
Maintain proper documentation of welding activities, including quality control records and material usage.
Adhere to all safety procedures and standards in the welding area to maintain a safe work environment.
Learn and apply new welding techniques and machine knowledge under the mentorship of senior staff.
Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of welding equipment and tools.
