Responsible for identifying unemployed youth from nearby underserved communities
Motivating and getting them enrolled through various mobilization strategies into various training programs with CHIRON
Maintaining strong community relations to ensure participation of men, women and youth in CHIRON activities
Creating platforms at a community level through which youth can be counselled on various skills and professional opportunities
Raising local volunteers & Point of Contacts in the community

Regular Tasks:

Conducting mobilization drives (Door to door canvassing, Public Announcements)/ Meeting with SHGs
Documenting into the database
Follow-up for suitable candidates to get them enrolled
Meeting with NGOs / Colleges / ITIs / Polytechnics /NYK/ youth clubs
Home visits for trainees & Planning community events
Sending press notes and maintaining healthy relationships with local news reporters
Desire to work with community
Very good Communication skills in English and Tamil
Team Player and Patience to teach, counsel, and motivate youth and parents
Willing to spend time in the community at the grass-roots level and travel
Any work assigned by the Project Director
