job Summary:
As an NDT Visual Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections on various components and structures, ensuring they meet quality standards and industry regulations. You will identify and document defects, ensuring the integrity and safety of our products and projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of welds, components, and structures using established NDT procedures and techniques.
Identify and document defects, such as cracks, porosity, inclusions, and other non-conformances.
Interpret inspection results and provide clear and concise reports.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant NDT standards and regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to address inspection related issues.
Utilize inspection tools and equipment, including magnifiers, flashlights, and other visual aids.
Contribute to the improvement of inspection processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
[Desired Level of Education/Certification, e.g., High school diploma or equivalent, ASNT Level I/II certification preferred]
Experience in NDT visual inspection techniques.
Knowledge of relevant NDT standards and regulations.
